Pinewood Derby 2012

We are an official Scout Family!

We've got the badges, we've got the belt, and we've can straighten our two fingers in a salute like nobody's business!

Now, we even have our first Derby under our belts! Matt & Aiden worked for 2 days on his sleek black car!

Aiden raced his car 3 times and ended up with 2nd place!! (Matt & I breathed a huge sigh of relief on that one!)

The Air Force Bowl

Our good friend Shane has worked hard to defend our country in the marine corps for almost 20 years now. We are so grateful for the sacrifices he, Diana, Nathan, Blake, & Ava have made to keep our country safe and allow us all of our freedoms. As if we weren't in his debt enough already, he also scored us FREE tickets to the Air Force Bowl on New Years' Eve Eve.

Aiden had a blast! We had to represent the Y with some fancy homemade t-shirts! HaHa

The football players kindly signed Aiden's program and one of the players signed his championship hat and gave to to Brady! Pretty incredible day for these kids!

















(so, not quite sure what possessed my camera, but I cannot find the picture of Shane & Diana & Nathan...still searching...Diana, did I take it with your camera/phone??)
